JIM CUDDY –...

Jim Cuddy’s fourth solo album, Constellation, is scheduled for release on Friday, January 26, 2018 “I’ve always found fascination in the smallest details of human behavior,” says Jim Cuddy of his songwriting. “It’s always been something that I look at and remember, the details of an exchange that I witnessed, or an exchange that I have, and there never seems to be an end to things to write about. Of course, as you get older there are bigger things that happen in your life that you realize you’ll never totally understand. I’m never at a loss of things to write about.” In support of the release of Constellation, Jim Cuddy will head out on a cross-Canada tour beginning February 8, 2018 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Joining Jim on tour are his bandmates Colin Cripps (guitar), Anne Lindsay (fiddle), Steve O’Connor (keyboards), Bazil Donovan (bass) and Joel Anderson (drums). Recorded at Blue Rodeo’s Woodshed Studio ...

MACHINE HEAD – CATHARSIS

If heavy music stands for anything, it’s freedom. Formed in Oakland, California in 1991, Machine Head have forged a formidable reputation and huge global fan base by never surrendering their artistic liberty or compromising their belief in the power of heaviness. Exploding into the consciousness of metalheads worldwide with their seminal 1994 debut album ‘Burn My Eyes’, the band led by singer/guitarist Robb Flynn have consistently raged against the grain, producing a steady stream of lead-heavy but fiendishly inventive modern metal records that have both defined and redefined the sound of metal in the 21st century.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY –...

Black Label Society bandleader Zakk Wylde wields his guitar like a Viking weapon, bashing out thick riffage and squeezing out expressive squeals as if the glory of his Berserker brotherhood depends upon every single note, which of course, it does. Charismatic beast and consummate showman, Wylde puts his massive heart and earnest soul on display with unbridled, unchained, animalistic passion in Black Label Society, whether it’s a crushingly heavy blues-rock barnstormer or a piano-driven ode to a fallen brother. Each Black Label Society album is another opportunity to top the one before it, but like AC/DC or The Rolling Stones, BLS isn’t here to reinvent the wheel. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s a brand we can trust. Grimmest Hits, the band’s tenth full-length studio album and follow-up to Billboard Top 5 entries Catacombs of the Black Vatican (2014) and Order of the Black (2010), Black Label Society submit new ...

BORNS – BLUE MADONNA

The nom de plume of singer/songwriter, multi‐instrumentalist, and Michigan native Garrett Borns, BØRNS crafts big‐hearted, alternately dreamy and danceable, falsetto‐driven, electro‐pop confections that have been dusted with glam rock and folk. Raised in the Great Lakes coastal town of Grand Haven, Michigan, BØRNS studied music at the Interlochen Center for the Arts at Grand Rapids Community College and became a fixture on the local music scene. After a brief stint in New York City, BØRNS decided to relocate to Los Angeles, where he set up shop in a self‐described "treetop sanctuary" just outside of the city, and began honing what would eventually become his debut EP, the Interscope‐issued Candy. Built around the dizzying and syrupy sweet single "10,000 Emerald Pools," the four‐song EP was released in November 2014. After a year of touring, most notably with Bleachers and Charli XCX, BØRNS released his debut LP, Dopamine, on Interscope in late 2015. The album fared well both critically and ...
