|Canada Sings 150 will celebrate Canada’s birthday in song at Central United Church, Sarnia on June 24 at 7:30 p.m..
A mass choir of singers from the greater Sarnia area will perform a collection of well-loved songs from Canada’s 150 year history.
The choir is directed by Robert W. Towers, organist and musical director at Central United, and accompanied on organ and piano by Angus Sinclair of St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, London, Ontario.
Those attending are encouraged to show their Canada Day spirit by wearing red and white, and by bringing one of three flags – the Union Jack, the Red Ensign or the present Canadian Flag – the three flags of Canada in the last 150 years.
The musical event will be followed by refreshments. Tickets are $10 with children under 16 free. Call Central’s office at 519-344-4561 for tickets.
