Northern Tapestry -A Lost World is a unique and inspiring multimedia show featuring the evocative lyrics and music of former TV host, Geoff Noble.
He is accompanied by a stunning visual feast of over 375 projected art and photographic images contributed by a number of renowned landscape artists and photographers. The stirring narrative has been compiled and is presented by actor, Susan Shillingford, along with Noble.

The songs and thematically linked images provide an in-depth view of the extraordinary beauty and enduring strength of the Canadian landscape, enriched with the deeply personal voices of her peoples, her writers, and her poets. This theatrical one-of-a-kind show has been described as ”a glimpse into the soul of Canada”’ -Arthur Black, CBC host and author; Salt Spring Island, BC 2014.

” A magnificent show….not to be missed.”
-Elizabeth Nolan, Gulf Islands Driftwood,Salt Spring Island, BC. 2014.

“ Our theatre patrons were captivated from the first note to the last image.”
-Phillip Sutton, Theatre Manager, Mary Winspear Centre, Victoria, BC 2015.

“ I don’t have enough superlatives to describe this show. ”
-Glen Rabena, artist, Hornby Island, BC, 2016.

“I have travelled every province and territory by foot, canoe, dog sled, skidoo, highway, ship and air. I have photographed for forty years, painted for ten.
The sensitive words, music and selection of imagery which you knit together
so beautifully, was deeply satisfying to me.”
Ron Hawkins, Salt Spring Island, BC 2014.
