King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s, Polygondwanaland, was the Australian psych-rock bands fourth album of 2017, now officially available from ATO Records on CD and Vinyl.

Beginning with the 10-minute epic “Crumbling Castle”, Polygondwanaland once again transports King Gizzard fans to their unique world of eclectic psychedelia.kingpolygondwanaland

The band is noted for its energetic live performances and prolific recording output, having released thirteen full-length studio albums since 2012. King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard’s early work was primarily a blend of surf music, garage rock and psychedelic rock, while more recent releases show a broader range of influences, including elements of film music, progressive rock, folk, jazz, soul and heavy metal.

“7.2/10” Pitchfork review

“King Gizzard had to chase their muse down a few different rabbit holes before they ended up with something truly stunning, and that something truly stunning is Polygondwanaland” Stereogum
