Presented by the Sarnia Photographic Club
Saturday, November 9th, 2019, 9 A.M. - 5 P.M.
The Sarnia Library Theatre (124 Christina St. S., Sarnia, Ontario).

Andrew McLachlan Photography is a photographer, writer, featured speaker, and workshop leader based in Barrie, Ontario. His extensive travels throughout Ontario have resulted in a large, diverse collection of images that feature landscapes, flora and fauna of the province. He will share a collection of stunning imagery that illustrates his proven tips and techniques for capturing high-quality, dramatic photographs.

Andrew’s seminar will provide ample time for participants to ask questions throughout the day and for one-on-one interactions with Andrew to help you get the most out of the sessions.

Morning Session
Ontario & Beyond is an overview of landscapes found in Ontario and throughout the world. Andrew will share his photographic tips, digital darkroom techniques, as well as in-the-field experiences and observations that influenced his compositions at the time of capture.

A Photographer’s Guide to the Ontario Landscape presentation takes an in-depth look at the many outstanding photo destinations in the vast and varied terrain of Ontario. Become inspired, gain knowledge, and create stunning imagery in your own backyard. This presentation is based on Andrew’s first eBook “A Photographer’s Guide to the Ontario Landscape”. In this e-book, he covers many of the best locations; from the remote Abitibi Canyon to Point Pelee, the Ottawa Valley to the Algoma Highlands and beyond, in an easy-to-read, easy-to-follow guide, complete with driving directions to each destination. The e-book will be available at special presentation rates $20

Afternoon session
Wild Places Wild Faces will cover wildlife in Ontario and beyond. High-quality and dramatic imagery throughout the presentation will inspire and educate the audience on various tips and techniques that Andrew uses in the field, on a daily basis, to create inspiring photographs. Finding Inspiration will take a look at our habits as photographers and discuss new ways to approach our photography and ways to get out of creative ruts.

Door prizes from Wimberley and Singh Ray Filters. Coffee, tea and cookies provided in morning and afternoon breaks.

The Sarnia Library Theatre has recently been renovated with all new seating for 300 guests. There is a magnificent movie screen and surround sound for the presentation. The Sarnia Photo Club has a very high quality Canon projector. The Audio Visuals are amazing.

There will be a break for lunch between 12 pm and 2 pm (there is no lunch included). There are many restaurants in the downtown area within walking distance. The Sarnia Library Theatre is only 300 metres from the St. Clair River, with lovely walking trails by the river.
