International blues artist Bryce Janey Band will travel north to perform in Sarnia, Ontario on May 22nd.
Bryce Janey has released several albums to date since 1995.
He started his career at the age of 13 playing in The Janey’s a 3 piece blues group. He has played from Chicago to Los Angeles and
shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Johnny Winter, Delbert McClinton, Blues Traveller, Alvin Bishop, Kenny Neal, and “The Queen of Blues” Koko Taylor. He has received
national attention including a 5 star rating from Blues Access Magazine, as well as stellar reviews from Blues Review and Living Blues. Bryce was inducted into the low Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. Bryce’s albums have been described as “Phenomenal, top-shelf, world- class,soul powered, retro-70s bluesy heavy guitar “six string mojo” that truly delivers on all levels of greatness. Bryce stands tall in the supreme blues/ rock guitar world.
President of Grooveyard Records recommends Janey to fans of Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Billy Gibbons and ZZ Top, Johnny Winter, SRV, Doyle Bramhall ll. He is the winner of the Iowa Blues Challenge in 2011 and in 2012 was an IBC semi-finalist in Memphis Tennessee. Bryce looks forward to bringing all his talents North to Sarnia.
