There is a definite chill in the air this time of year, but in downtown Sarnia the arts scene is only getting hotter and hotter. Ranging from live music to art you can serve food on, there is something for everyone of every age during First Friday Cultural Walkabout with the November 2nd evening being no exception.

Reminder that parking downtown is free after 6:00 p.m. including on the street and all lots.

Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery - 147 Lochiel St - 6:00-9:00 p.m. - Members Reception 7:00 p.m. -
Artist Demonstration 6:45 p.m., 7:45 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. Well known for his participation in the early Canadian graffiti movement and as avant-garde hip-hop artist Thesis Sahib, James Kirkpatrick works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, zines, mask making and experimental sound improvisation

Coffee Culture - 130 Lochiel St. - 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. - Live music

Artopia Gallery & Framing - 188 Christina St N - 6:00-9:00 p.m. - “Raw Edge” - Hand crafted charcuterie boards made from locally sourced wood by Sarnia resident Nathan Cote. The boards are finished with a natural beeswax and mineral oil that Nathan makes himself to ensure that the boards are both food-safe and long lasting.
