The latest project by Sir Paul is his highly anticipated original orchestral score Ocean’s Kingdom recorded with theLondon Classical Orchestra. Written for the New York City Ballet, this is his first-ever orchestral piece written for the world of dance. The NYCB premiered this work on Sept. 22, 2011.
Paul McCartney is already at home in the world of classical music and this is his fourth album in the genre. His last, Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart), was awarded the prestigious Classical BRIT Award in 2006.
